We've been very busy making progress lately and the major excitement in our lives all begin with the letter "B":
1. Big Boy - Koen is growing like a weed now and is having fun every day. He loves to imitate everything we do or say (for better or worse) including walking up and down the steps on his own. He also enjoys tackling the dog, throwing toys (he has quite an arm), kicking balls, jumping and running EVERYWHERE, and imitating noises like car alarms, barking dogs, birds, words and music. It is so much fun watching him grow and develop into a little boy... excuse me... a Big Boy!
2. Baby - Mommy's belly is growning daily and she has no chance of hiding it if she wanted to. that little thing is kicking her regularly and taking all of her left over energy after raising an energetic boy and working full time. I don't know how she does it, but she is a champ and going strong. Baby #2 seems pretty strong too. I think we may have a tag team on our hands after June 9th :)
3. Basement - Daddy is trying to make room for #2 by finishing the basement. We need our "spare" bedroom very soon so we can transition Koen into his big boy room. The toys, entertainment and office goodies will all find their way downstairs once Daddy gets it all done. As you can see, we have a long way to go, but we are making PROGRESS :)
